Sree Kumaran Thangamaligai is chain of retail jewellers in Tamil Nadu.

History

Its founder Kulandaivel Mudaliar entered the business in 1962.

However its first textile khadi shop which was started in Madurai in 1962, later started in Tirupur in 1991 as 'Kumaran silks' later renamed as 'The Chennai Silks' in 2001. The jewellery division was started in 1993 in Tirupur. They also export Kintted and woven garments for chain stores in USA and Europe including Decathlon, Carrefour, TESCO and Hanes.

Showrooms

Sree Kumaran Thangamaligai is now with 10 retail outlets in Chennai, Madurai, Tiruppur, Erode, Trichy, Karur and in Coimbatore with 4 outlets. It deal with Gold, Diamond, Silver and Platinum. It is also well known as The Rasi Shop. It has plenty of own Brands such as Mangalya, Tanujaa, Dhoolikas, Pavanaa, Vedhas, Reva, Aurora and few others. And 2013 two new shops opened, In OOty and Madurai.Upcoming Project in Salem and Vellore.
