Sheetal Rajput is an Indian TV journalist.
She is currently Executive Editor, Talk Show host, Prime Time Anchor and reporter-at-large with India News. [1] [2] She hosts Jana Gana Mana, a weekly chat show broadcast every Sunday night at 8pm and is also a co-host and panel expert on Sarhad Aar Par, a weekly cross border show, hosted simultaneously by India News and Din News, Pakistan, broadcast every Saturday night at 8 pm.

Early life
Sheetal Rajput was born in a Dogra Rajput family in Jammu.
Her father, Dalip Singh is a retired State Administrative Services Officer and her mother, Parveen is a retired lecturer.
She completed her Masters in Science from Jammu University in 1998 and a Post Graduate Diploma in Journalism & Mass Communication in 1999.
Career
Sheetal started her career as a trainee reporter with Zee News in 2000 where she undertook national and international assignments. [3]
She has since reported from conflict zones in India as well as abroad, reporting on the J&K elections, covering the devastation caused by the 2004 Indian Ocean earthquake and tsunami, the devastation by flash floods in Uttarakhand in June 2013, [4] the terror shadowed elections in Pakistan in May 2013, Lok Sabha polls in 2014, floods in Kashmir, the standoff at Indo-Pak border in Jammu and the Indian Prime Minister’s much talked-about trips to USA, Australia and Nepal.
Personal life
Sheetal Rajput is married to Amit Palit, a journalist with NDTV and has a daughter named Naaisha (b. 2011).
