History
In 1955, the only building which stood on the site was the Kassandra Rural Prison.
In the early 60s, three Greek businessmen, Anastasios Andreadis, Leonidas F. Zisiadis and Leonidas K. Zisiadis purchased Sani land in Halkidiki including its surrounding areas and the Sani Resort development was launched with the opening of the Sani Beach Club in 1971. Following the issue of a special decree, permission was granted by the local authorities to build in the area, new roads were created and the first utility services such as electricity, water and telephone lines were installed.
