Ryan Robinette
Ryan Robinette (born November 2, 1987) is an independent American country pop singer and songwriter.
Robinette grew up in Senecaville, a small town located in Southeastern Ohio. He attended Meadowbrook High School. His father was a local musician.
Robinette began writing songs almost immediately after picking up the guitar.
As the front man for multiple cover bands in his teens and early twenties, he continued to play out as a solo acoustic act.
In 2006, he enrolled at Zane State College where he went on to earn an Associates Degree of Applied Science as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
By mid 2014, Robinette started playing as a solo act in central Florida. In May 2015 he released his 5-track debut EP entitled Coming of Age. He began making Nashville connections that landed him an opportunity to co-write with George Ducas.
In June 2016 Robinette was invited to open the main stage at the Boise Music Festival after a local Radio Program Director heard his single, “For Awhile” from his debut LP, “Progression”.
In August 2016, “For Awhile” was featured on Spotify’s “New Boots” playlist, exposing the single to a worldwide audience of over 280,000 monthly listeners. The momentum of "For Awhile" and anticipation of his debut album led to the addition of Robinette to the lineup at Country Night Lights Music Festival in Athens, Ohio.
On August 26, 2016, Robinette released his debut album, “Progression”, which reached the Top 10 on iTunes Country Charts.
