Rupal Patel [1] (Gujarati: રૂપલ પટેલ) is an Indian actress. She is known for her portrayal of Kokila Modi in the long-running soap opera Saath Nibhaana Saathiya on Star Plus TV channel. She has received several awards, including the Star Parivaar Awards—Favourite Saas for the years 2011, 2013,2014 and 2015. Since 18 March 2019 she is playing the role of Meenakshi Rajvansh in Star Plus popular show Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke, this show is Spin off show of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai

Biography

Patel was trained in acting at the National School of Drama in New Delhi. She owns a theatre group by the name Panorama Art Theatres which is involved in children's plays. She has a degree in Commerce as well. Rupal has worked in few films with director Shyam Benegal.[2]

Apart from this Patel has featured in a lot of special appearances in various shows.

She is always chosen for portraying strong grey characters.

She was seen as a hardcore warden in one of the episodes of C.A.T.S. which was an Indian remake of TV series Charlie's Angels. She was also featured in few episodes of Crime Patrol
