Early life and career

Liyaquat originally hails from Udaipur, Rajasthan, India.

She is Bohra Muslim.

Liyaquat joined Channel 24 in 2002 while in Udapur, but later she left her hometown Udaipur for more career options in Metropolis like Delhi and joined News 24 and Live India.

She married her colleague Naved Qureshi while working in News 24.

She currently hosts Hindi debate news programme Taal Thok ke of Zee News.
