Rica Peralejo (born Regina Carla Bautista Peralejo on March 7, 1981), is a Filipina actress, singer, and television host. She is a member of ABS-CBN's circle of homegrown talents collectively known as Star Magic.[1]

Career
Peralejo started her career back in 1993 during her Ang TV years a Youth Oriented Daily Television program that centered on today's much big talents in 1997-1999 she starred on T.G.I.S on GMA-7 from the 2000s she pivoted to mature roles and TV work in 2006 she received massive acclaim in the soap Sa Piling Mo as Nicole Fuentebella a lead role that took her acting progress to a serious level in 2007 she played Doctor Fina Alacaraz a role played by Vilma Santos in the 1985 cult film Palimos Ang Pag Ibig in the Primetime Soap Version and then in late 2007 she played Sapphire Gomez in the drama inspired remake of Sana’y Wala Nang Wakas “Pangarap Na Bituin” in 2007
Television
Peralejo started out as a child star and was part of ABS-CBN's popular youth oriented variety show Ang TV. During her early teens, she became part of the rival network's hit teen-oriented drama, GMA Network's T.G.I.S.. A year later, Peralejo moved back to ABS-CBN and was cast as part of its own hit teen oriented drama, Gimik. She was also cast as part of the hit horror series !Oka Tokat. Her acting prowess was finally recognized as she became a staple in ABS-CBN's teleseryes such as Mula sa Puso, Marinella, Kay Tagal Kang Hinintay, Sineserye Presents: Palimos ng Pag-ibig, Sa Piling Mo[2] and Pangarap na Bituin. She was also part of the hit sitcoms Palibhasa Lalake, Oki Doki Doc and OK Fine Whatever. She also honed her hosting skills as a host for the showbiz oriented show Showbiz No. 1 and a segment host for Umagang Kay Ganda.[3] Rica was also hailed as a Dancing Queen with her Rated R segment in the Philippines' longest running variety show ASAP. She has appeared in several episodes of Komiks, Star Magic Presents, Philippine TV's longest running drama anthology Maalaala Mo Kaya and her own mini-anthology via Star Drama Presents: Rica. Recently, Rica has appeared in guest roles on 100 Days to Heaven and Ikaw Ay Pag-Ibig and became a guest judge on several occasions on It's Showtime. In 2015, Peralejo hosted Mommy Hacks.[4]
Music
Personal life
Peralejo studied at the School of the Holy Spirit during her early years. She graduated from the Ateneo de Manila University with a degree in AB Literature.[11]
Peralejo is married to Joseph "Joe" Bonifacio, a pastor of Every Nation Church.[12]
