Rap Snacks are the official snacks of Hip Hop. The bagged potato chips and popcorn are adorned with famous rappers. Song download opportunities are also included with codes from the purchased bag. Rap Snacks are generally sold in convenience stores, particularly in inner-city areas.
Rap Snacks were created by James "Fly" Lindsay in 1994.
Rap Snacks feature a wide variety of popular rappers, as well as lesser-known or up-and-coming artists.
The various flavors are packaged with a cartoon version of a rapper on the front and a brief biography of the artist on the back.
In August 2007, Lil' Romeo purchased the Rap Snacks Company for an undisclosed amount of money. At that time, James "Fly" Lindsay, ran the company's daily operations and aimed to expand the Rap Snacks product line with Romeo's help.
Migos recorded a Dab of Ranch song about their flavor.
