Qognify, (formerly part of NICE Systems) is a Security Software Company that is focused on software and application development for public and private organizations to mitigate security and safety risk, maintain business continuity, and optimize operations. Qognify carries out video management, video and data analytics, and PSIM/Situation Management solutions that are deployed in financial institutions, transportation agencies, airports, seaports, utility companies, city centers, etc.
Qognify provides services to security-conscious customers around the world, such as the Los Angeles International Airport; Oslo International Airport; San Antonio Military Medical Centre and the city of Nanded in India.

History
Qognify was originally established by NICE Systems in 1986 as their Physical Security Business Unit (PSBU) serving the security industry. In September 2015, Battery Ventures acquired the PSBU from NICE for up to $100 million, making it an independent company and changing its name to Qognify. Qognify President, Moti Shabtai, was the business unit's former general manager under NICE, while Qognify chairman, Adam Markin, was Executive in Residence at Battery Ventures prior to his appointment to Qognify. Headquartered in New Jersey, Qognify also has offices in Singapore, London and Delhi, and an R&D center in Israel.
NICE is an enterprise software application company with focus on applications for financial institutions, business intelligence markets and contact centers.
Since its inception in 1986, NICE has made over 15 acquisitions and is headquartered in Ra'anana, Israel. Prior to Battery Ventures acquisition of the NICE's Physical Security Business Unit (PSBU), in 2013, NICE exceeded one billion dollars in sales.

Situator 8.0 (PSIM Solution)
The latest version of Qoginify’s market-leading PSIM and situation management solution Situator 8.0, includes the Operational Intelligence Center.
The platform provides situational awareness and incident management capabilities as it captures, monitors and correlates vast amounts of information and turns it into actionable intelligence.
VisionHub
In March 2016, Qognify announced that it has released VisionHub, a new video management solution (VMS) that extends video surveillance and video management, while adding security and incident management capabilities.
They went on to win the Qognify's VisionHub Wins SIA's Best Video Surveillance Management System at ISC West 2016.
Video Analytics
Qognify's video analytics solutions are part of its video management solution, the leading IP video surveillance software, and support both analog and IP cameras.
Suspect Search
Qognify's Suspect Search is a video analytics solution that can quickly locate a suspect in live or recorded video using a description or composite of the suspect.
Suspect Search is used in locations such as hospitals, airports and casinos.
In 2015, NICE Suspect Search Adds SSI MVP, SIA NPS, and Casino Journal was Top 20 in its Growing List of Industry Accolades where it won three awards: Security Sales & Integration 2015 Most Valuable Player (MVP) Award, Security Industry Association's (SIA) New Product Showcase (NPS) Award, Casino Journal's Top 20 Most Innovative Gaming Technology Products Awards for it's Suspect Search, recognizing ths solution's innovation and functionality. The solution has already been recognized by five other award programs since its launch last year. Other Awards won for it's Suspect Search Solution includes the: ASIS Accolades award, Campus Safety BEST award, Security Trophy for "Innovative Tool Application" of the Year – 2014 and the Best Video Analytics Solution by Government Security News.
Object Origin
In September 2015, Qognify launched Object Origin, an analytics tool which has the ability to scan hours of any recorded surveillance video within seconds in order to detect the first appearance of any suspicious vehicle or object.
The tool is very intuitive and quickly provides important information that reduces service delays and enhances security.
For it's Object Origin Video analytics Solution, Qognify Won the ASIS Accolades 2015 for Object Origin Video Analytics Solution.
Awards
On November 4, 2015, Qognify announced that they were awarded a Gold Medal 2015 Security Innovation Award.
The Award was given by Security Technology Executive Magazine (STE) for their collaboration with Los Angeles International Airport and system integrator AECOM on the development of a solution which extends incident management capabilities out of the control room and into the field.
