  • In July 2008 PeopleStrong entered South East Asia Market by entering into a strategic alliance with Zapper, a company specializing on Payroll Processing Outsourcing Services & SaaS HR Solutions.

  • In 2009, PeopleStrong published ‘India Attrition Study’, a national survey on the employment dynamics in India.

  • In 2010, partnered with Business Today (business magazine)’ “Best Companies to Work For”[4] study - India's most-read workplace survey.

  • In January 2011, the company received investment from Lumis Partners, a private equity fund based out of Gurgaon (India) with investment in areas like Education, Human Capital Services, Supply Chain Management, Technology and Consulting.

  • In June 2013, HDFC Holdings, a wholly owned subsidiary of HDFC, one of India's largest financial conglomerates made an equity investment in PeopleStrong. Existing PE investor Lumis Partners also invested in this round.

  • In November 2013, the “India Skills Report” was launched. Since then, PeopleStrong annually releases the ‘India Skills Report’ along with Wheebox and Linkedin, in association with the industry body, Confederation of Indian Industries (CII) and Association of Indian Universities (AIU).

  • In 2014, the company released the India Skills Report 2014 [5] in association with its partner company, Wheebox, [6] and industry body, Confederation of Indian Industries (CII). [7] [8]

  • In October 2014, the company announced the acquisition of Webpay, an HR and payroll-product provider, with the aim of adding to the capability of PeopleStrong’s cloud-based technology product suite PeopleStrong ALT and to strengthen the presence of the company in the small and medium enterprise segment. This is the third strategic investment for PeopleStrong, after Summit HR’s frontline business and IL&S (Wheebox), a leading talent assessment company in India, where the company owns majority stake.

  • In 2016, the company launched a mobile HR app “PeopleStrong Alt” in India, on the occasion of Peoplestrong’s 10th-year anniversary. The app provides access for all employee-lifecycle transactions – right from attendance, payroll, claims and reimbursements on one hand, and recruitment related transactions on the other hand, including submitting employee referrals and providing interview feedback.

  • PeopleStrong has been awarded ‘Asia Pacific Customer Relationship’ by HRO Awards in 2012-2013, ‘Best Recruitment and Staffing Organization of the Year’ by RASBIC Awards 2011-2012, and ‘Recruitment and Staffing Industry Leader of the Year’ by World HRD Conference in 2011-2012.

  • PeopleStrong was the winner of the ‘Asia Pacific Program of the Year Award 2014’ by HRO Today Services and Technology Association, along with its customer, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd, Automotive & Farm Equipment Sector. It again won the ‘Asia Pacific Business Excellence through HR Transformation Award 2015’ by HRO Today Services and Technology Association, jointly along with their customer, IndiGo Airlines, one of India’s largest airlines.
