Nivetha Pethuraj is an Indian film actress, and model who appears primarily in Tamil and Telugu films. She made her acting debut with Oru Naal Koothu (2016).[2]

Early life

Nivetha Pethuraj was born in Kovilpatti[3] and left for Dubai at a very early age along with her parents. She did her early schooling in Thoothukudi[4] and then lived in Dubai for over 20 years.[5] In 2015, she won the Miss India UAE pageant.[6]

Career

Nivetha made her acting debut in the Tamil drama, Oru Naal Koothu (2016). Her subsequent releases include Podhuvaga Emmanasu Thangam (2017) and the space fiction thriller Tik Tik Tik, which earned her critical acclaim.[7][8]

In 2019, she signed major Tamil movie starring Vijay Sethupathi directed by Vijay Chander. [9]
