History
NestAway was founded by four Computer Science graduates Jitendra Jagadev, Amarendra Sahu, [4] Deepak Dhar and Smruti Parida from National Institute of Technology Karnataka in 2015. [5] They had started with 6 homes, 20 tenants and 6 employees with a small office at Indiranagar Bangalore. The company now employs more than 400 people, and is headquartered at Bangalore.
Finance
Nestaway raised $1.2 million in seed round of funding from investors InMobi's Naveen Tewari and IDG Ventures India on March 16, 2015 [6]
$12 million in Series B funding from investors Flipkart and Tiger Global Management on July 21, 2015 [7].
NestAway raised their Series C funding of $30 million led by Tiger Global Management. IDG Ventures Indian and DST Global additionally participated in this round. [8]
Tata Sons Chairman Emeritus Ratan Tata has additionally invested an undisclosed amount in NestAway. [9]
