Early life and education
Amini's father is an ethnic Persian from Isfahan and his mother is an Iranian Azerbaijani from Tabriz.[4] Max began his stand-up comedy career in 2002 at the LA Improv. The show was part of a comedy workshop class final, and despite his own inhibitions as the "worst kid in class," by the end of his set the audience was thoroughly enthused with the performance they'd just seen. Since then he hasn't stopped. For seventeen years Max has performed across the globe, expressing his views on family and cultural topics through his spectacular theatrics and energetic humor. He was chosen as one of the finalists for NBC's Diversity Showcase in 2009, and he developed a stand-up comedy tour, named "Exotic Imports" featuring second-generation Americans coming from diverse cultural backgrounds.
Max performs nightly at comedy clubs in Los Angeles.
