Lucas Rockwood is an American yoga teacher trainer, entrepreneur, writer, performer, and tireless self-promoter. ^{[2] [5] [9]} He has written Fifty Minutes, which premièred at the New York International Fringe Festival. ^{[13] [1]}

Lucas Rockwood was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota in 1978 and grew up in southern California where he attended The Thacher School. ^{[2] [4]}

In 2000, Lucas Rockwood along with Sherri Kronfeld co-founded After Hours.

^[1] As a playwright, his work was seen at The Producers Club, Wings Theater, New York Comedy Club, and TSI in New York City. ^{[1] [8]} He also performed in two shows in the Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2000 with Start Again Productions. ^[1] His other co-production Fifty Minutes premièred at the New York International Fringe Festival in August 2001. ^{[13] [1]} At the age of 25, he left the States to go to Bangkok on a sabbatical. ^{[2] [9]}

Lucas founded Absolute Yoga Academy in 2006, one of the top 10 yoga teacher training schools in the world.
