Krishna M. Ella is an Indian entrepreneur, scientist, and founder of Bharat Biotech International Ltd, Genome Valley and Ella foundation. ^{[undefined] [undefined] [undefined]}

Ella holds M.S. from the University of Hawaii and Ph.D (1987 to 1993), from College of Agricultural Sciences, Department of Plant Pathology at University of Wisconsin, Madison, U.S.A. ^[undefined] Later, Ella held the position of assistant professor, at Medical University of South Carolina, Charleston. With expertise in yeast molecular genetics, he founded, Bharat Biotech in 1996. ^[undefined]

Ella was born to a Telugu agricultural family in Tamil Nadu, India.

He is married to Suchitra and has a son and a daughter.His
