Janson was born and raised in Minnesota, where she moved around often throughout small towns in the Minneapolis metropolitan area.^[2][3] Janson is of Swedish descent.^[1] At age 14, Janson got her first job as a cashier at a McDonald's to help support herself and her family.^[4][5] Janson worked there for only a couple of months and she worked at a retail store afterwards.^[3] At age 16, Janson was a beauty advisor at Walgreens^[5] and she also worked as a magazine telemarketer for a year when she was 17 years old.^[3][5] At age 18, Janson was a waitress and hostess for Marie Callender's.^[5]
