Jacqueline "Jackie" Theresa Bruno (born December 29, 1984 in Assonet, Massachusetts) is an American television news reporter and former beauty queen. She is an anchor and reporter for New England Cable News (NECN) in Newton, Massachusetts. She competed in the Miss USA pageant in 2008 and also competed at Miss Teen USA in 2003.

Biography
Early life and education
Bruno was raised in Assonet, Massachusetts, and graduated from Apponequet Regional High School in 2002. During her senior year, Jacqueline was a featured fire baton twirler and editor-in-chief of her high school newspaper. She continued her education, graduating cum laude from Boston University in 2006 with a bachelor's degree in broadcast journalism with a minor in political science.
Pageants
Miss Massachusetts Teen USA
In November 2002, Bruno was crowned as Miss Massachusetts Teen USA 2003. [1] She placed 3rd runner-up at Miss Teen USA 2003, her state's highest placement in the pageant since Marianna Zaslavsky finished 2nd runner up at Miss Teen USA 2001. [2] Her sister titleholder was Susie Castillo, Miss Massachusetts USA 2003 and later Miss USA 2003.
Miss Massachusetts USA
In 2006, Jacqueline competed for the title Miss Massachusetts USA and placed second runner-up to Despina Delios. She competed again in 2007 and won. Her sister titleholder is Caroline Lunny, Miss Massachusetts Teen USA 2008. She is only the 3rd Miss Massachusetts Teen USA to win the Miss USA state title.
Miss USA
She competed at Miss USA 2008 in Las Vegas, where she became the second Miss Massachusetts USA in the 2000s to make the top 10. She placed 5th in swimsuit competition with a score of 8.954. Jacqueline was also selected as Pageant-Almanac's predicted winner for the pageant. She was also selected as the Face of the Year for 2008 by Global Beauties.com. The Face of the Year contest reviews pageant contestants from across the world. [4]
Modeling
Bruno has been a professional model ever since she was 13 years old.
She has graced the front cover of the nationally circulated Wedding Style Magazine and has been a featured model on runways across New England.
When she was 14, she was selected to be the "Macy's/Seventeen Prom Model of the Year" in a nationwide modeling contest and was featured in Seventeen Magazine.
Career
Jacqueline is currently an anchor and reporter at New England Cable News in Newton, Massachusetts.
She anchors the weekend evening newscasts and reports during the week.
In 2004 and 2005, Jacqueline started her broadcast career as an intern at NECN.
In 2006, she graduated with honors from Boston University with a degree in broadcast journalism. After college, she worked as a production assistant at the CW Boston's 10 o'clock news and sold radio advertising at WBMX Mix 98.5 in Boston and WFHN FUN 107 in Fairhaven, Massachusetts.
In November 2007, she was named Miss Massachusetts USA 2008, and placed in the top ten at the nationally televised Miss USA pageant in April 2008.
Upon returning from the pageant, Jacqueline was featured on an episode of MTV's *MADE * where she helped a young man compete for the title of "Mr. Chelmsford High". She also was a host on New England TV on NewEngland.com where she explored the sights of New England from the perspective of a real New Englander.
Bruno worked at WWLP-22News in Springfield, Massachusetts, from December 2008 to December 2011. She was their weekend evening anchor and Hampshire County Bureau reporter.
