Ifeadikachukwu Anthony Odenigbo (born April 8, 1994) is an American football defensive end for the Minnesota Vikings of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Northwestern . Odenigbo was drafted by the Vikings in the seventh round of the 2017 NFL Draft . [3]

College career

Ifeadi played college football at Northwestern . There he recorded the second most sacks in school history with 23.5. On October 1, 2016, Odenigbo tallied 4 of the Wildcats’ 6 total sacks against the Iowa Hawkeyes . In 2016, he led the Big Ten Conference in sacks with 10 and was voted to the All-Big Ten First-Team (Coaches) and Second-Team (Media).

Odenigbo was drafted by the Minnesota Vikings in the seventh round, 220th overall, in the 2017 NFL Draft . [5] [6] He was waived on September 2, 2017 and was signed to the practice squad the next day. [7] [8] He signed a reserve/future contract with the Vikings on January 22, 2018. [9]
