Gianna Toboni is an American producer and correspondent who has covered stories across the United States and overseas, most recently with VICE Media, and HBO show, VICE. In the last year, Toboni hosted and produced documentaries on topics ranging from the legacy of the Guantanamo Bay detention center; mixed martial arts as an alternative therapy for war veterans; climate change and its effect on polar bears; among others. In January 2016, Toboni was featured in the "Media" category of Forbes' annual 30 Under 30 article.
Before VICE, she worked as a correspondent for Al Jazeera and a producer for ABC News. Toboni also spoke at a 2014 TEDx event.
Originally from San Francisco, California, Toboni is a graduate of New York University (NYU). She currently resides in Brooklyn, New York.
Her sister is actress Jacqueline Toboni.
