Father Gregory Hesse

Father Gregory Hesse (born Vienna, Austria, 1953; died 25 January 2006) was a priest, canon lawyer and Traditionalist Catholic who opposed the changes introduced to the liturgy and practices of the Church following the Second Vatican Council (1962–65). [1]

He was associated with the Society of Saint Pius X and its founder, Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre.

Ordained as a priest in St Peter's Basilica, Rome, in 1981, he served as secretary to Cardinal Stickler between 1986 and 1988. [3]

He died due to complications from diabetes.
