Life and career
1973–06: Career beginnings
Snow graduated from Wayne Memorial High School in 1991, and later graduated from Michigan State University in 1995 with a Bachelor's degree in Marketing. [6] Whilst at Michigan State, DeShawn met Spartans basketball team member Eric Snow, who she later married on July 21, 1997. [7]
After working as an estate manager, she started her own real estate agency EDJ Realty, LLC in 2004. [8] In May 2006, she started her own not for profit foundation, DeShawn Snow Foundation, that is to 'empower young women with self-esteem issues'. [9]
2007–08: The Real Housewives of Atlanta
Snow appeared as one of the five original 'housewives' in Bravo 's *Real Housewives of Atlanta * for its first season. [1] [1] However, on January 15, 2009, it was announced that Snow was to be dismissed from the show, with producers attributing her expulsion to her being 'too human for a circus show'. [1] [1] [1]
