Consuelo Mack ((née Cotter), born November 30, 1949 in New York, New York) is an American business news journalist and host of WealthTrack, a nationally syndicated business news program presented by WLIW-TV in New York City, distributed by American Public Television, and aired weekly, primarily on PBS-TV station affiliates. Before developing WealthTrack she spent over a decade at The Wall Street Journal as the Anchor and Managing Editor of its weekly syndicated business program Wall Street Journal Report, since hosted by Maria Bartiromo and Rebecca Quick. During her tenure, it won the Overseas Press Club award.[1]

Early life and educational background
As a girl, Mack grew up in Weston, Massachusetts and studied at the Concord Academy. Mack attended Sarah Lawrence College and graduated with a bachelor's degree in English Literature, History and Political Science in 1972. After college, Mack was a trainee in the account executive program of Merrill Lynch, Pierce, Fenner & Smith, stockbrok ers. In 1974, Mack married her husband Walter S. Mack Jr.[2]
Career
Mack served as Anchor and Editor of The Asian Wall Street Journal Report, a weekly business program syndicated throughout Asia, and also hosted the 1996 PBS documentary series "Emerging Powers" and the 1994 PBS special "Pacific Rift".
Honors and Award Recognitions
Business Times (TV)|Business Times, the first national morning business program. won the ACE award, cable television's highest honor, of which she was a contributor and founding news editor.
Lifetime Achievement Award for Women in Print and Electronic Financial Journalism awarded by the Women's Economic Roundtable.
Nominated for a News and Documentary Emmy award for excellence in background and analysis.
