History
BackOffice Associates, LLC was founded in 1996[3]. Over the years, the company has released several software solutions, including the Data Stewardship Platform (DSP)[4] and information governance products.[5] Backed by Goldman Sachs, the company bought out its founders, Tom Kennedy and Trish Kennedy,[6] in 2012.[7] In 2017, Bridge Growth Partners [16] joined the ownership team when they made a majority investment in BackOffice Associates.[8] In May 2019, BackOffice Associates announced a new name: Syniti.[9]
Acquisitions
In April 2016, BackOffice Associates acquired CompriseIT, a UK-based consulting firm specializing in helping enterprises adopt SAP's Business Suite 4 SAP HANA.[10]
In December 2013, BackOffice Associates acquired ENTOTA, UK-based SAP data services consultancy.[11]
In July 2012, BackOffice Associates acquired Headwall Software Inc., a Canada-based custom mobile solutions company.[12]
In April 2010, BackOffice Associates acquired HiT Software, a California-based company specializing in data integration, change data capture, data replication, XML transformation and IBM DB2 connectivity software.[13]
In March 2010, BackOffice Associates acquired CPM Consulting, a SAP partner with business consulting and technology projects in Enterprise Performance Management.
In February 2010, BackOffice Associates acquired Quadrate, a software development company for their ERP2 and Qubed products.
