The series will be played in a 2-3-2 format, with the first two and last two (if necessary) games played at the home ballpark of the higher seeded team.The series will be the 50th in league history, with Fox/Fox Sports 1 televising all games in the United States.The New York Yankees compete against the Houston Astros in the 2019 American League Championship Series.
