The 2016 Republican National Convention is taking place July 18th-21st at Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland, Ohio.
The GOP gathering will decide their party platform of policies to pursue over the next four years and nominate their presidential candidate for the 2016 general election.
The presumptive nominee is Donald Trump who won the requisite number of delegates in the primary elections and caucuses.
Melania Trump featured on the first day.
She has been accused of plagiarizing part of Michelle Obama's speech using similar words verbatim.

Sheriff David Clarke's speech had pro-police theme and centered around Blue Lives Matter.

On the first day of the convention, Stephen Colbert crashed the stage to declare the first "Hungry for Power" games to begin.
Former 70's sitcom star known for being Chahci on Happy Days Scott Baio and former underwear model Antonio Sabato Jr also made speeches.
Trump emerged from a cloud of fog.
