On October 8, 2016, Two Police officers were killed and one was wounded following a Shooting in Palm Springs, California. ^[undefined]

Police responded to a family Disturbance call at the time of the shooting. The argument was between a father and a son with Mental issues. ^{[undefined] [undefined] [undefined]}

Witnesses heard about 10 to 20 gunshots that sounded like a Machine gun. ^[undefined] John Hernandez Felix shot at the officers, leaving two dead and one critically injured. ^{[undefined] [undefined]}

According to a neighbor, the shooter had Mental issues and wanted to specifically shoot Police officers. ^[undefined] Hernandez was in a standoff with police for over 12 hours. He was taken into Police custody before 1:00a.m. on October 9, 2016.

Lesley Zerebny and Jose Gilbert 'Gil' Vega were confirmed dead. ^[undefined]
