Blepharoplasty is plastic surgery to correct defects of the eyelids and aesthetically modify the eyes.
Skin and fat are repositioned or removed.
Blepharoplasty can also resolve functional and cosmetic problems of the periorbita, which is the area from the eyebrow to the upper portion of the cheek.
Women account for approximately 85% of Blepharoplasty procedures in 2014 in the USA.
The cost of a blepharoplasty is usually about $3K, although ranges from $2K to $7K.
