Karen Teoh is Cofounder, Chief Operating Officer (COO), and Economist of Kommerce, a startup that uses blockchain technology to close the trade finance gap in emerging and frontier market economies as well as enable businesses therein to access capital markets. Teoh began her career as a Litigation and Dispute Resolution Associate at the law firm Allen & Gledhill, where she worked from 2002 to 2005. From 2006 to 2015 Teoh worked in Business development for Medical Communications Pte Ltd, an IT appliance startup. Teoh cofounded Kommerce in 2017, and presently serves as its Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Economist.
