Death
On Monday March 26, 2018, Jennifer, Sarah and three of their children died when the SUV driven by Jennifer navigated onto a dirt turnout on Highway 1 in California and then didn't stop, falling over the cliff and plunging about 100 feet. Jennifer and Sarah Hart, who were in the front seats, both died. [3] [10]
Jennifer and Sarah Hart, both 38, were found dead in the vehicle. Three of their children, Markis, Jeremiah and Abigail, were found nearby. Three other children, Sierra, Hannah and Devonte, have not been found, but officials now believe they were in the SUV and killed in the crash. [10]
Authorities stated that preliminary information suggested the car may have been intentionally driven straight off the edge of the cliff. [10]
According to toxicology tests, Hart had a blood alcohol concentration of 0.102 percent at the time of the crash. [11] The toxicology tests also found that Sarah Hart and two of their children had a significant amount of diphenhydramine. [11]
