CELEBRATING MUSIC IN IT'S TRANS-SINGULARITY, ONE SONG AT A TIME
Et al. is a Baltimore three-piece with an M.O. to resuscitate the band as a creative format; to proof-read the indie-somesuch DIY lexicon and come back with brief but detailed notes on the real thing.
Taking cues from maybe-you've-heard-of-them's like Fugazi and Sleater-Kinney, Et al.'s lyrical and riff pallet is a musical attempt to ditch the contemporary "I don't give a fuck" slander in lieu of its arcane and dated ancestor, "fuck you." Put another way, if indie/art rock music today comes out a of a 3D printer, Et al. is from that one table at the local farmer's market whose veggies are actually pesticide-free.
