Eleanor Barkhorn is Deputy Managing Editor of Vox.
Barkhorn was an editor at The Atlantic for nearly 5 years, rising up the ranks from Associate Editor, to Associate Senior Editor, and finally to Senior Editor. In 2014, she left The Atlantic to join Vox. 
Barkhorn was an intern at The Atlantic before starting her career there. One of her first jobs was in a section of the company that was tasked with developing online products that would help give The Atlantic a robust web presence. One of the first big projects was launching a section of the website that was devoted to food.
