Dylan Nunn (born March 21, 1994) is a Kenyan-American entrepreneur based in Washington D.C. He is the Co-Founder of MealTribes and Metta Creative and has been featured in Washington City Paper, DC Refined, On Tap Magazine, and DelawareOnline. He is known for running a social incubator and guest house that brings together thought leaders, business professionals, and travelers.     
Early Life & Education
From a young age, Dylan was educated about the culture and cuisine of different countries. Dylan attended Edmund Burke School where he was captain of his school's swim team. He also participated in Cross-Country, Track and Field, and Leadership Society. 
After graduating high school, Dylan attended the University of Delaware where he majored in Hospitality and minored in Entrepreneurial Studies. He was inspired to pursue hospitality after hearing about the opportunities in the "service and experience" industry. 
Throughout college, Dylan gained experience and interned at different hospitality organizations including Homewood Suites, Courtyard by Marriott, Patina Restaurant Group, and Viva Nova Restaurant. He earned his degree in 2017.
Career and Entrepreneurship
Dylan is the Co-Founder of Mettā Creative, a social impact association where he organizes events and interactive experiences, particularly in nightlife. His goal is to bring together purpose-driven millennials to celebrate and interact with forward-thinking vendors and organizations at immersive venue spaces all over the world. 
Dylan has been a waiter and bartender at Design Cuisine, a restaurant in Arlington, Virginia, since 2012. He has served various leaders and influencers including Barack Obama, Kevin Spacey, George Clooney, as well as the 2016/2017 Inaugural Celebrations. 
Dylan has spent time traveling and throwing benefit events in other countries. In March 2017, he traveled to Guatemala, Belize, and Mexico spreading the mission #partywithpurpose to those with whom he met and interacted. While in San Pedro, Belize, he organized a fundraiser event for Oceana, Belize where party goers listened to music, danced and competed in competitions to clean up the surrounding beach area.
Dylan has volunteered at various food banks and co-ops including the Food Bank of Delaware, Martha's Table, and Takoma Park Silver Spring Co-op where he would prepare meals, organize events, and interact with participants. He also volunteered for The Taste of Newark, an annual event celebrating cuisine in the Newark, Delaware area, and Cuba Skate where brought skateboard supplies and helped build a skate park in Cuba.
