Doctor Phil Good is the accidental brain child of Phil Dyer founding member of Mountain Standard Time and former band mate of Kenny Withrow (Eddie Brickell New Bohemians) in Lost Sailor for 3 years. Touching on as many genre's in a night as possible seems to be the name of the game as long as everything is a little bit funky and people can dance. Phil's first solo album is in the works being co produced by Dango Rose (Elephant Revival) and Nick Forester (FOH Big Gigantic and Griz) So far things are sounding a bit like everything he has ever heard in a lifetime of listening to every kind of music imaginable and is now being mixed down to what he feel in his songs. The bands line up consists of Phil on guitar, mandolin, violin, and vocals, John Goren on Guitar, Rob Garland on bass guitar and former Smooth Money Gesture drummer Scotty Llewellyn playing drums and any other instrument you can put in front of him as well as pitching in on vocal duties and song writing.
