David Liebowitz (born July 22, 1994) is a writer, content creator, and blockchain/cryptocurrency enthusiast based in Los Angeles, California. He is a Founding Team Member, Executive Editor, and Vice President of Partnerships and Sales at Everipedia. Having one of the highest IQ rankings on Everipedia, David has been responsible for authoring rich content that has received millions of views. In October 2017, Dave started Bitcoin For Plebs, a media company dedicated to proliferating content relating to the cryptocurrency space.
Liebowitz was born and raised in North Jersey. Both of his parents are of Ashkenazi Jewish descent. He attended Montville Township High School. Outside of school, for over a year he worked as a busboy at the Lake Valhalla Club and spent a large portion of time lifting at Carini's House of Iron. David was a successful athlete, leading the football team as captain his senior year and winning county and state shot put relay titles. He graduated in 2012.
After graduating high school, Dave attended the University of Massachusetts Amherst and served as Treasurer of The Political Science Honors Society. During his tenure, he established the Faculty-Student Lecture Series and organized the logistics of their speeches to positive acclaim. He adopted a cat named Bojangles his junior year from a local shelter. He graduated with 3.5 G.P.A. with a major in Political Science and a double minor in History and Philosophy.
David has worked in several different positions over the years. In the summer of 2013, he interned at Bravo Media Inc. He served as a Hilltern in Washington D.C. for his local Congressman, Rep. Rodney Frelinghuysen, in the summer of 2015.
David started Frequency of the Unknown in March of 2015. In his blog, he analyzes contemporary American Politics, interviews various entrepreneurs, and shares lessons learned from his life experiences. The blog is currently on a hiatus.
Work at Everipedia
David first starting doing work on Everipedia in May of 2016 after seeing a Facebook post from Mahbod Moghadam about Everipedia internships that summer. At the time, David had just graduated from college and was living in his parents' house in New Jersey. Immediately seeing the huge potential, David dedicated all his free time to making pages and figuring out what the site was looking for in a full-time contributor. Some early successful pages he made included Kirill Was Here, Rezz, Rich Brian, Michael Phelps's Swim Cap, etc. Later that summer, David was invited to move to the Everipedia HQ to work for the company full-time as an Executive Editor and become a member of the Founding Team.
David moved across the country to Los Angeles, California to work as his new postion as Executive Editor for Everipedia. He has played a role in breaking national stories for James Alex Fields Jr., Louise Rosealma, Eric Clanton, Mariah Bons, and Steve Stephens. His pages of emerging concepts have received substantial traffic and include Wook/Wookie, SoundCloud Rap, Please Do Not Swear On My Profile Thanks, The Story of David Higgs, and Electric Forest Lineup First Weekend of 2017. In addition, David has created pages for up and coming artists such as Teka$hi69 (6IX9INE), Lil Xan, and Lil Skies, as well as contributed to others like Lil Pump.
David heads Everipedia+ which offers wiki-creation services to clients.
In his free time, David enjoys working out, reading, and traveling. He owns a Sriracha Shirt. Prominent figures that have greatly influenced his life and philosophy include Jim Rogers, Bill Hicks, Terence Mckenna, and Carl Jung. He insists that Fight Club is the greatest movie of all time, and has seen it 15 times. David is a Kohen. [✔]
