Long-term collaborative partners Jacob Folk and Sam Popkin began their musical careers in the suburbs of Philadelphia, recording and playing local shows with the band The Zealots. After meeting fellow musician Riley Fressie in Philadelphia, the three musicians soon formed Colorado Youth. Their music is comparable to artists such as The Band, Dr. Dog, and The Avett Brothers, although it cannot be attributed to any one particular influence. They will be heading out on their Fountain Of Youth Tour July 1st to promote their upcoming album, Only Instinct. [+]
