Hailing from East Point, Georgia, Carlos Grown MaN Porter was introduced to singing praises to GOD at an early age. As a young man, Carlos attended Tri-Cities High School where he sang in the choir ( Tri- Tones), and studied visual media production classes. At the ripe young age of 18, he began a worldly rap group known as The G-Boyz. He gained local fame and success in the city of Atlanta and on the chitlin circuit with his Hit single “ Shawty What’cha Name Iz?”
Following the local success of “Shawty What’cha Name Iz?” Mr Porter experienced many trials and tribulations , from undergoing two heart surgeries to unequally yoked relationships, friends leaving, financial problems to health problems. After years of being out in the wilderness the Prodigy Son has returned with his latest offering, “ Decent And In Order” the first solo project since the loss of PRAISE partner Kent (Ole Skool) Willis. With Old and New songs that keep it crunk for the LORD with bouncy cords and tightly rapped tracks and heavy bass beats that lay testaments to his East Point, Georgia roots.
