The River Rats are Asheville's upcoming youth rock/soul and blues band. The band consist of Andrew Scotchie(guitar/vocal/managment), Andrew Adams(harmonica/sax.vocals), Eliza Hill (drums) and Jordan Miller on bass.

The band started as a busking project between Andrew S. and Andrew A.. The songs soon took hold and begin to call for a large, retro rockin sound. Andrew Adams and Scotchie have take the traditional call and response blues tech. to the next level while Eliza and Jordan hold down a tight groove.

The band is often joined by the North Buncombe FLyboys, the horn section for the band. Listen to "I DOnt Worry" and no more needs to be said!!

Influences of Tom Petty, The Black Keys, AC/DC, Drive by Truckers, Neil Young and the Ramones can be heard.

Check these boys and girl out---they aren;t going anywhere. Find them on facebook and go to Revebnation to hear music and see music videos [+]
