Antti Pennanen is a serial entrepreneur based out of Helsinki, Finland. He is best known for his current role as the CEO and Founder of MONI, a fintech company that uses blockchain technology to develop tools for personal banking.  
Antti Pennanen enjoys photography, spending time with friends, good food, and travelling to exotic locations. On one of his travels he rescued a Russian spy ship from a junkyard. He speaks six different languages, English, Finnish, German, Latvian, Spanish, and Swedish.
Antti Pennanen graduated from University of Jyväskylä with a Bachelor of Arts in Information Technology in 2003. In 2004, he graduated with a bachelor's degree in Entrepreneurship from Aalto University School of Business which was known as Helsinki School of Economics (Helsingin kauppakorkeakoulu) at the time. 
At the age of 19, Antti Pennanen founded Finland's leading animation studio Anima Vitae in 2000. He previously founded and served as CEO of the animation studio Octaco Oy, which he founded in 1999. Before starting his first company he worked as a Graphics Artist at Housemarque Limited working on 3D modelling. He has also worked as a Producer at Universal Communications Systems and a Trainee at FINNET. 
In 2008, Antti became a business partner in Fake Graphics, a Helsinki based digital production studio specializing in image design, animation and effects for visual communications. 
From 2009-2014, Antti served as the CEO of the cloud based infrastructure service Freedom Zone and the global banking service provider Secure Action. He is currently on the board of Freedom Zone. 
Antti Pennanen founded MONI, a fintech company that builds blockchain based tools for personal banking in 2014. MONI is well known for their MONI Prepaid Mastercard created in partnership with MasterCard which allows users access to their secure payment network without needing a bank account or credit history.
