Life and career
Day began acting as a child and after training at Sylvia Young Theatre School signed to United Talent Agency (US) and Hamilton Hodell (UK). Day quickly made her professional acting debut as “Holly Cunningham” in the popular Channel 4 Drama Hollyoaks (2012-2013).
She then went on to be featured in many roles across television, film and music, including Shield 5 (2016) Wifey Rudux (2015) , Between Two Worlds (2015), Trollied (2014), 5 Seconds Of Summer video "She Looks So Perfect" (2014) and Arctic Monkeys "Arabella" (2013).
In 2015 she rose to fame for her stunning portrayal of Robert Jekyll's twin sister ‘Olalla’ in ITV’s remake of Jekyll and Hyde. Through this highly popular British fantasy series Day quickly proved herself as an actress who can draw in the crowds. The British fantasy drama being loosely based on the novel ‘The Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde’ saw Day excel in this thriller role.
Talking about the series Day described “being the first female Jekyll and Hyde was such an incredible opportunity and a wonderful chance to challenge myself as an actress in such a diverse and complex role.”
The 21 year old recently moved to LA where she is working on a number of films in development.
Starting off 2016 Day was confirmed as one of the faces of L'Oréal’s latest international campaign, with many more in the pipeline. Day has featured in internationally renowned publications including Vogue UK (2011) and Elle UK (2015). She also became the face of multiple commercial campaigns including JD Sports, Nintendo, Nike, Boots and Garnier.
