TVPlayer is an Internet television company serving the United Kingdom, offering access to 62 free live television channel streams using a web browser or application software via big screen and small screen mobile devices. Alongside the free service, TVPlayer offers five no contract monthly subscriptions collectively carrying 36 premium live television channel streams. TVPlayer was launched as an iOS and Android app on 19 December 2013. TVPlayer launched its tablet computer version in January 2014. Company representatives reported that TVPlayer had received 250,000 application software downloads within 28 days of launching. On 30 January 2017, TVPlayer announced it had launched compatibility for all Windows 10 devices. As of January 2017, TVPlayer application software had been downloaded 2.5 million times since inception and boasted over one million active users.
Accessing TVPlayer television content
All TVPlayer apps can be used via devices connected to all 3G, 4G, and Wi-Fi Internet connections. Some channels are only available while using a Wi-Fi Internet connection due to licensing rights and legal restrictions. TVPlayer is a United Kingdom only service and offers streaming of up to 1080p video resolution depending on the playback device. Two devices on the same account can stream subscribed content at the same time.

Available television content
62 free channels are offered with no restrictions to usage. There are five no contract monthly subscriptions; "PLUS Lite" which allows access to 16 premium television channels, "PLUS Max" which allows access to the same channels as the "PLUS Lite" subscription but with an additional 11 premium television channels, a Now TV Kids subscription that allows access to 7 premium kids television channels, a subscription to the boxing television channel BoxNation, and a subscription to Brazilian television channel Globo. There is a video on demand service allowing consumers to catch up on television programmes with their 7-day catch up service requiring one of the "PLUS" subscriptions. Due to licensing rights and legal restrictions, some television channels aren't available on certain devices.
