Logan Alexander Paul is an American social media entertainer who started creating videos on Vine . He is a former State placing wrestler and received two academic scholarships to attend Ohio University in Athens. Paul's first television acting job was a short in Bad Weather Films , playing Rainbow Man. This led to a sequel called Rainbow Man. Suicide video controversy

On December 31, 2017, Paul uploaded a vlog to his YouTube channel depicting the recently deceased corpse of a man who had committed suicide by hanging in Aokigahara at the base of Mount Fuji in Japan, known as the "suicide forest" due to its high popularity as a suicide site. Initially intended to be part three of his "Tokyo Adventures", the group had planned to camp in the woods, but in response to finding the corpse, decided to notify the authorities and cancel their plans. The video gained 6.3 million views within 24 hours of being uploaded [8] and reached Number 10 on YouTube's trending list. Paul has since issued apologies on his Twitter and YouTube. Three weeks after, Paul then uploaded a suicide prevention video specifically for suicide awareness. The video has been applauded and also criticized.
