Ifeadikachukwu Anthony Odenigbo (born April 8, 1994) is an American football defensive end for the Minnesota Vikings of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Northwestern. Odenigbo was drafted by the Vikings in the seventh round of the 2017 NFL Draft. [3]

College career

Ifeadi played college football at Northwestern. There he recorded the second most sacks in school history with 23.5. On October 1, 2016, Odenigbo tallied 4 of the Wildcats’ 6 total sacks against the Iowa Hawkeyes. In 2016, he led the Big Ten Conference in sacks with 10 and was voted to the All-Big Ten First-Team (Coaches) and Second-Team (Media).

Odenigbo was drafted by the Minnesota Vikings in the seventh round, 220th overall, in the 2017 NFL Draft. [5] [6] He was waived on September 2, 2017 and was signed to the practice squad the next day. [7] [8] He signed a reserve/future contract with the Vikings on January 22, 2018. [9]
